Bamboo socks are ridiculously expensive, especially a particular brand known for their sheets. I bought a couple brands of cheaper bamboo socks to compare and the Ecosox ones were the best of the bunch. They have a nice amount of padding, not to thick for dress shoes, but not to thin to wear with tennis shoes. They stay nice and cool, but I don't know how well they do in cold as I live in a blighted wasteland. I have had them for several months now and they are still very comfortable and have not stretched out or frayed at all. I ordered a second pack after the first month and threw out all my other black dress socks, since these are so much more comfortable.
