These socks work well at keeping the chill off the feet in the cold. However, the top of the sock is a bit tight with little elastic. If you have big calves it’s slightly uncomfortable to pull all the way up or you have to let them down a bit. You also need to adjust the wire along the side just right or it will press painfully against your skin inside your boots. These observations are minor and I would buy these again.Keep in mind I have just recently received these but I have used them a couple times. I bought these for mountain biking but the first time I wore them was at work as I was on a forklift and my feet were freezing then I remembered the socks. So I came in and put them on and immediately they warmed my feet so much that I had to lower the setting. The next day I put them on again and wore them all day and they worked so good I even took off my jacket! But then I tried them mountain biking and although they do keep my feet warm they would hurt my feet. I ended up with blisters on both feet. It's just didn't work that well for my feet your case might be different. I pedal at a high cadence and we did hit some water so that might have played into it. I will be riding for the next 2 days and if something changes I will update the review.The socks kept my toes nice and warm on the lowest setting. When I walked with them, there was no discomfort from wires. The fit for my foot as a woman was great (medium) but they were tight on my calves.I love these socks. I bought one pair for my bff and I will buy another for my hubby, and my father. I want to buy them for everyone at work. The warm setting is very toasty, the medium setting very nice and the low setting is perfect for me in the house. I have bad circulation and my feet get so cold and hurt. My poor hubby and little boy had to live with the heat on high. Now, I turn on my socks and everyone in the house is happy at a comfortable setting. There are wires, but I didn't really feel them, the socks are thick and tight fitting, not uncomfortable at all. I used another pair of smaller socks to feel the heating wires a little closer to my toes. That made a difference with the settings. The low setting is perfect and it lasts for at least 7 hours.The one thing I would suggest is for the charger to be USB comparable.I hope you enjoy yours.I like how high these socks go up on the leg.It allows much better holding power, and the 3 power levels are all you need.Very warm for my wife's cold feet. Tight fit for size ordered but good product.I bought this socks for my son who is wheelchair bound and therefore his feet get cold very often specially at night. once I put them on him, it was a good fit, and is very visual because it has nice lights that show the amount of heat: red is the fastest way to heat up quickly, white is medium heat and blue is the less intense heat. So, I start with red and in less than 15 minutes it already feels warm to the touch, then I switch to the blue less intense heat to maintain it. the batteries really last for several hours on one charge, but I do not leave them that long...in about 1 hours my son cold feet are gone, and I remove them for the night. Excellent product because it gets the job done, I have use them for about 3 weeks now. Do not hesitate if you want to keep your feet warm...Very thick! Nice product
