I’m very picky about my sheets. These are very soft and cozy. The only thing is the zipper did break after three uses. But we still use itI love the softness and the quality. It feels like a very good quality smooth Cotten sheets with a good quality thin/smooth zipper. I bought the larger size so my husband and I can use it when we travel. It is fairly large which is both good and bad. It is good that it's spacious but bad we have one more bulky item to carry with us. Once folded, it's a size of a med size sweater or a thick towel. good I don't see how this can prevent bed bugs and dust mites because it's not like you are completely cocooned. The benefit of this is, you don't have to sleep on hotels' sheets or if you are staying with a friend, it doesn't dirty their sheets. And it's also good to have if a friend is crashing on your couch. I don't like how even 4 and 5 star hotels treat their linens so I bought it for that reason. They put all the sheets in a large washer and fold them and store them in an open dusty storage area. I just don't like the idea of sleeping on sheets hundreds have slept on whether washed or not. I've also seen some dirty sheets even in nicer hotels. I've had to sleep in rural areas where the best hotels are those little run-down motels so this suits my needs perfectly. I just wish it wasn't so expensive...I travel to Hong Kong regularly and use this to sleep on the plane. It is wonderful - good quality cotton, the sleeping back style with zipper keeps the sheets over you as you twist and turn in your airplane sheet and it is perfect weight - if cabin is warm use just this, if cool use the airline provided blanket over it. I'm a germaphobe and love that I have this barrier against the seat, blanket, etc., and the pocket for a travel pillow is also very well thought out and well designed and the cotton is nice and comfy. Some might say it is pricey for the amount of cotton sheet you get, but I have to say that it is a great design and worth that premium. After 5 HK/NY legs, it started to rip a little bit at the seams but I just sewed it up with a hotel sewing kit and, even if I have to buy a new one, still worth 5 stars.I did not buy it for the for allergy protection. I was looking for a good quality 100% cotton sleep sack that I use nightly when I'm on the road as a long haul truck driver. I found this sleep sack to be roomy and comfortable (I'm a big guy, 6'2", 280). Most of the sleep sacks I've tried in the past were made of lightweight material. This one has a nice weight and high thread count. The side zipper is sturdy. I prefer a zipper over the others that use velcro - a less reliable closure and will scratch against your skin if you rub up against it.Though it's pricey, I would definitely buy it again. The high quality should give it a service life that justifies the price when compared to others.Update 1/28/18 - it's almost 2 years since I started using this sleep sack. I sleep in it about 260 nights a year and I have finally worn it out. It has lasted at least 3 times longer than any other sleep sack I have purchased on Amazon. I tried 4 or 5 other brands but found them to be inferior quality (I won't name them as personal preferences may vary). I have been thoroughly satisfied with the quality material and construction of this product and will be ordering another.I have allergies to laundry detergents, so sleeping in hotels is a nightmare. I bought the king size version of this first (for travel with my husband) and I loved it so much that I bought the single version for when I travel myself. I've tried other bags like this, but the Allersac seems to be of higher quality. Many other ones have velcro or are just sewn straight up the side, but this has a zipper so it's really convenient to get in and out of. The pillow pocket is a nice idea, but if you have a bigger pillow it might not completely cover it. Plus I like to hug my pillow at night, so I always have to bring my own pillowcase too.Is it the best thing ever? No...But is was a nice fabric and feeling. I had no issues getting in and out of it at night. I used the pillow cover just to hold my pillow in place, not as a case. This is much better then most of the sleep sacks we have looked at. I will be using many times, whenever I stay at someone else home or in a hotel for certain. My husband has developed detergent allergies and we travel a lot. We got this to take with us on our trips. He says it is comfortable and works well so he is happy.LOVE this!!!! I have tons of allergies so I use this all of the time in hotels and in homes that I visit. It is needed because I am allergic to old blankets, comforts, pillows, or if these things are not washed frequently. Also I am sometimes allergic to the detergent used to wash these items.
